About Us: Our Roots

The Arbor House Philosophy

At Arbor House, we believe that recovery is not just about the absence of a substance; it is about the presence of a support system.

The name "Arbor" was chosen intentionally. In nature, an arbor provides a sturdy, wooden framework that allows vines and flowers to climb, grow, and eventually thrive on their own. We serve as that framework. We provide the stability, safety, and structure necessary for individuals in early recovery to find their footing and reach toward a brighter, healthier future.

Arbor House Overview

Our Philosophy

Recovery doesn't happen in isolation. It happens in community. Our home is built on the pillars of accountability, connection, and respect. We aren't just a place to sleep; we are a community of individuals dedicated to the hard work of transformation. By fostering an environment that is both disciplined and compassionate, we help our residents transition from the structure of clinical treatment to the freedom of independent living.

Our Affiliation and Standards

Arbor House is committed to excellence. We operate in accordance with the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) standards, ensuring that our home meets the highest national benchmarks for safety, support, and ethical operation. We are working toward NARR certification and accreditation.
